Mercy Hospital remains focused on preparedness and response efforts related to coronavirus (COVID-19). For the safety of our patients, physicians, colleagues and community, along with hospitals across the country, we have implemented enhanced visitor restrictions to control the spread of the virus.

Patients are limited to one (1) adult visitor per day between the hours of 2:00pm and 6:00pm
  • Surgical patients may have one adult patient advocate during the pre and immediate post op period
  • One overnight visitor will only be allowed in the following circumstances:
    • Pediatric ER patients
    • Labor and Delivery patients are allowed one adult support person at all times
    • NICU patients
    • End of life
  • All visitors will receive a temperature check and be screened for cold and flu like symptoms before being granted entry to our facility
  • Visitors with a fever of or over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and/or screen positive for cold and flu like symptoms will not be allowed to enter the hospital

Visitors are not permitted for COVID-19 patients/PUI

All visitors & staff must wear face masks at all times

Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient’s treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
